Has anyone recently taken the Base sas Programming exam and felt that the practice test on the SAS website is a good representation of what will be on the exam? We need 65% to pass the exam right>?

Hello,

I work with the SAS Certification Team and I can tell you that the practice exam for the BASE Programming Specialist is very much like the types of questions that  you will see on the actual exam.  The exam covers the same topics and is at a similar difficulty level as the live exam.  Taking it is a good way to practice and study for the exam.

Another resource you might check out is our webinar about preparing for the BASE Programming Specialist exam:  https://www.sas.com/en_us/webinars/prepare-for-the-sas-programming-specialist-exam.html

I hope this helps.

Best of luck to you on the exam.

Kindest regards,

Is the passing score is 65% or higher?

Hi,

We don't publish a percent score, but rather a scaled score (725 with a range of 200-1000 points). Your can read more about scaled scores in our FAQ on sas.com/certify
