SAS Text Analytics,Time Series, Experimentation and Optimization - Certificate has any 1 done this?

Any one appeared for this certification ? If yes can you please tell type of questions in the exam? Were questions more theoritical or practical ?

I am preparing for this by self study. 

This is new certification exam launched by SAS in March 2016.

Hello,

I work as an exam developer for SAS Certification so I can answer some of your questions.  To find out specifics about the exam itself, please visit the SAS Certification site at:  http://support.sas.com/certify/. 

Once there, select the SAS Certified Advanced Analytics Professional Using SAS 9 credential.  When that page displays, you will see the

Exam 3: SAS Text Analytics, Time Series, Experimentation and Optimization  listed as one of the three exams for that credential.  When you select that exam, you will then see a description page for the exam that offers you a lot of good detail about what to expect on the exam and how to prepare to take it.  If you select the Exam Content tab, you will see great detail on the total number of items, types of items and the length of the exam.  In addition, you will see a detailed exam topics list that provides you with the detailed exam objectives for the exam.  On the Exam Preparation tab, you will see information about courses that you can take to better prepare for the exam and there are some sample practice exam questions available.

What do you mean by interactive questions? Is it like enterprise miner certification?  What is simulated environment ?

Interactive questions allow you to complete a task. The exam question will provide you with a work area. In this work area, you may be asked to:

• use drag and drop functionality to configure a user interface component
• use drop-down lists, check boxes, and radio buttons to configure user interface components
• build a SAS program from a list of available lines of code.

The exam scoring mechanism will evaluate the settings you have established in the work area to determine if the item is answered correctly.

Is there any sample paper for this certfication exam?

It covers topics like text mining, forecasting, IRM, optimization. This exam will test knowledge of theory mostly or knowledge of SAS procedures like using LP solver in proc optmodel or Using proc USM for fitting forecast model etc?
