When I started to pursue sas certification, I browsed the cert verification tool and was able to search for people based on country and other factors. I went to verify someone's status today and I was pushed to Credly which is just so awful to verify that I have to navigate through thousands of people to find this.

What's going on at SAS? You guys are like falling apart here. What value is a certificate if the world can't verify it?
I can't find me or my friend. Look at this garbage...
Hi @Residentx10,
and here you can (at least at the moment) find the old directory:
https://www.certmetrics.com/SAS/public/candidate_directory_search.aspx
A specific person is easy to find if you select Earners and then start typing the name in the search bar.
Hi @Residentx10, I experienced the same looking for my name.
But after changing the settings in credly
I could find it as described by @Patrick.

Thanks @MarkusWeick I put this in my email drafts so I never lose it!!
Hello,
Thanks to @MarkusWeik for your posts. I’d like to provide some additional information about the SAS Certification and Skills Directory.
To be transparent, SAS is in the process of transitioning to an updated version of SAS Certification Manager. This new platform will provide a more user-friendly experience, is optimized for mobile viewing and will introduce some new features for our certification candidates. When planning the move to the new platform, we noticed that the soon-to-retire directory was underutilized and had some shortcomings. The new directory, powered by Credly, expands to not only searches for certifications, but for skills and badges related to SAS learning and development activities. The new directory is also a step towards a bigger plan to create more opportunities that allow for sharing and verifying of both learning and certification activities but most importantly to connect our learners with potential employers and interested parties.
Currently, as noted by some other users on this thread, both directories are still active. We plan to send notifications to users when the platform transition is complete later this year. That notification will include info on how to adjust settings to meet the goals you have for being noticed or verified.
As always, we’re open to any feedback you may have and appreciate you connecting with the SAS Certification Community.
Thanks @beccagre for the info.
I think will miss the possibility to view who of my company has registered their certifications (see below). But I am looking forward to the new possibilities.
