I will be taking the SAS 9.4  base certification exam from home very soon.

I have 2 questions.

1)Will there be a way for test takers to jot down notes and calculations while at the exam?  I ask, because in some of the questions, it would help to write out SAS calculations, especially dealing with DO loops.  I doubt I will be able to do it on paper.  Will there be a place on the computer screen to do so?

2) I know we will have access to various programming environments via Virtual Machine (SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise guide. etc).  Will we have access to those programming environments during the whole exam, or only for questions that require test takers to write code?

Hi @SASProWannabe

Check out the thread of comments on our Tips and Strategies article for more info on when the lab is available. That is answered plus a bunch of other tips I expect you will find helpful. There is a virtual whiteboard available to you during your exam for taking notes. You cannot use paper during an OnVUE remote proctored exam.
