I passed a Base SAS certification([A00-201] SAS Certified Base ProgrammerComplete) in 2005 which expired in 2008. Do I need to take the Base SAS certification exam again if I want to take the Advanced certification.

I am sorry but the A00-201 exam isn't a valid pre-req for the current A00-232 Advanced SAS Programming exam. The valid pre-requisites are the now retired A00-211 SAS Base Programmer or the current A00-231 Base SAS Programming exams.
