Install Center is a good place to start as it covers administration as well:
http://support.sas.com/documentation/installcenter/
Sunny.
Best place to start - in fact, it's my primary SAS link:
https://support.sas.com/en/sas-administrators.html
From here you will have links to everything you should require.
Plus keep asking questions in the Administration and Deployment community.
Question: Are you looking to install, administer, both?
Experts
thank you for all the kind responses.
Question: Are you looking to install, administer, both?..i am considering both
does installing is part of adminster ? or both differ...could you please help me understand it correctly..
thank you
sunny
Sunny,
I think a better way to ask will be for you to clarify what responsibilities will you be doing, including any/all of SAS installation, SAS configuration, SAS administratrion, SAS user support, etc, and for who - the company you work for, a customer, etc.
Andrew.
Hi Sunny,
the following includes a lot of information, but describes the way going from novice to advanced,
from install, to first steps, to ongoing maintenance, etc.
Take a look at: Self-Study
Pick and choose from the topics that are of the most interest for you.
Enjoy learning admin, its a super cool subject 🙂
Best
Anja
