Hi,   I'd like to add something in addition to all the great input you got.   For example, as Linus mentioned, you cannot learn how SAS and Hadoop works if you are not familiar with SAS. Not knowing your experience level, and just speaking out of experience working with customers: do not underestimate the foundation SAS admin requires. Meaning, there is a lot of basic ground to cover before actually getting to install and configure additional products such as Hadoop w/ SAS.   As mentioned by someone prior, if you are knowledgeable w/ SAS administration, maybe really mentioning that you understand the SAS architecture, are experienced with SAS platform, and with that you could figure out how to set up things such as Hadoop w/ SAS. Did they actually ask you to do a Hadoop / SAS config during the interview, or, are they asking for someone with Hadoop knowledge in their job description.   There is an article with a list of topics an admin should be familiar with, or better put,  these are things to make the daily SAS admininstration easier. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/super-food-sas-administration-brain-iv-self-study-anja-fischer Maybe it helps you as a guideline to see what it all includes - again, not knowing your knowledge level w/ SAS admin.   If you don't mind sharing, are you familiar with SAS administration? Hi,   when you schedule via Win Scheduler, are you simply using .sas programs that have been created in BASE SAS, or, are you scheduling through SAS EG, exporting through SAS EG? (which, too, uses the Win Task Scheduler)   When you create a .sas and schedule it with the WIn Task Scheduler, SAS has nothing to do with the process, all it does is run the job you schedule in batch. When you use SAS Studio, it uses the email addresses that are either stored in metadata, or, entered manually.   You said that some emails are send blank, does that mean some users reveive emails that are ok when being sent via code/Win Task Scheduler?   Thanks Anja ... Hi.   Take a look at the following SAS Note: http://support.sas.com/kb/57/029.html   I'd like to make a suggestion: if you have not opened a track with Tech Sup yet, maybe it would be a good next step to make sure the upgrade to M4 runs smoothly. As I recall, you ran into a web config problem in an earlier step of the upgrade. Hi,   as Juan mentioned, knowing the error could help us further troubleshoot.   What comes to mind when having problems with the Reports Center is that something might have gone wrong with the initialization. I saw the behavior you described before.   Did you follow these steps: http://go.documentation.sas.com/?cdcId=evcdc&cdcVersion=2.5_M1&docsetId=evug&docsetTarget=p0h7p9v8da676jn13vcjbl21rd05.htm&locale=en   What version of SAS and maintenance release are you using? That's important too as the features and functionality in Environment Manager depend on the version. SAS 9.4 M3/M4 is using Env Mgr 2.5, which is the latest.   You could check the log files to see if there are any errors that help troubleshoot this behavior further. Take a look at the following log files.   SAS® Environment Manager Server /SAS-configuration-directory/Lev1/Web/SASEnvironmentManager/server-5.x.0-EE/logs/server.log /SAS-configuration-directory/Lev1/Web/SASEnvironmentManager/server-5.x.0-EE/logs/bootstrap.log SAS® Environment Manager Agent /SAS-configuration-directory/Lev1/Web/SASEnvironmentManager/agent-5.x.0-EE/log/agent.log   It sounds as if the reports / stored processes have not been initialized.   Feel free to post the log files as attachment if you'd find any errors, I'll be happy to take a look at it.   Best Anja ...
