Hi,I want to know about metadata level configuration.can we do first time configuration of metadata on Lev2??is it mandate to configure on Lev1.

LevN is "just" a name. So technically there is no preventing you to start with a Lev2.
But, if you are unsure how to go about this, I urge you to seek support from experienced persons.

As already advised by LinusH, if your environment supports multiple levels of SAS Configuration you can use this a differentiator. So for example for First level of config, Lev1, second level Lev2 and so on.

However its not mandatory to use lev1 before lev2, it depends upon the architecture agreed upon. I would suggest you to reach out to your SAS Architecture Team to understand better in your organization.
