Ensure the user you are validating with has physical access to the path you have defined as the WORK library location for the server in question.

@gwootton

How to check the work dir physical path for sassvr?

Typically the WORK location is set in <SAS-installation-directory>/SASFoundation/9.4/sasv9.cfg. You could try running the server command manually from the command line (e.g. <sas-configuration-directory>/Levn/SASApp/WorkspaceServer/WorkspaceServer.sh -nodms) and then running proc options option=work value; run; to see what the option is set to and where the option was set.
