I am planning to configure SAS_LSM utility my GRID server.
Stuck : How do i mention both Metadata server and Midtier server in configuration file.?
As this is GRID system my sequence is to start LSF first on GRID manager and then other services .
Can anybody guide on how I need provide values in my configuration wizard and sequence to it.
Architecture :
| HOSTNAME | Component Name |
| Server A | SAS Metadata |
| SAS Middle-tier | |
| Server B | SAS Grid Manager |
| Server C | SAS Grid Node 1 |
| Server D | SAS Grid Node 2 |
| Server E | SAS Grid Node 3 |
The SAS-lsm Utility: Making Multi-Tier Deployment Management Safer and Easier
Server A contains Both Metadata and Mid tier services.
Thank you for your quick response,Just to confirm i can configure my application to lsm as below ?
| Start-up Order | Tier Name | hostname | Description |
| 1 | Meta | Server A | Metadata node |
| 2 | SAS Grid Manager | Server B | Grid Master |
| 3 | SAS Grid Node 1 | Server C | Grid Node 1 |
| 4 | SAS Grid Node 2 | Server D | Grid Node 2 |
| 5 | SAS Grid Node 3 | Server E | Grid Node 3 |
| 6 | MidTier | Server A | Middle Tier |
Does above sequence and configuration looks good ?
