Hi,

We were migrated from Viya 3.4 to Viya 3.5, for Viya 3.4, the "Projects" folder is not hidden in SASDrive for normal users, and our users saved all reports in the Projects folders.

Attached please find the screen capture for your easy reference, the left pic is Viya 3.5 while the right pic is 3.4.

Any comment is appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey @HangLui ,

Can you see the folder with an administrative account? If no, maybe the folder wasn't migrated? If yes, see the following question:

Have you checked that your users are allowed to read the folder? - https://go.documentation.sas.com/?cdcId=calcdc&cdcVersion=3.5&docsetId=calauthzgen&docsetTarget=p09c...

Kind regards,

David

HI @DavidHD ,

Yes, I can see the folder with an admin account.

I found a documentation mentioned that "If you are a non-administrative user, the Projects folder is deliberately hidden through standard file navigation. You cannot navigate to the Projects folder from the All tab in SAS Drive, or navigate to the Projects folder in SAS Visual Analytics." ref: https://support.sas.com/kb/65/660.html

Thanks!

Lui
