Does SAS Server(services) needs restart when we modify sasv9_local.cfg?

Hi,

 

I need to modify MEMSIZE from 2G to 4G in sasv9_local.cfg.

After modifications should I need to restart SAS services/server?

Bouncing the object spawner should be enough. If you are going to launch the SAS session directly from SAS Foundation then even that isn't required.

Configuration files are read when SAS is initialized i.e.when SAS  is started. 
Any changes to sasv9.cfg /  sasv9_local.cfg.would need a restart.
