hm.... so, are they simply debug logs? Is it OK to delete or archive them? And in usual practice, do people enable these logs in the Production environment? Would they be a big performance issue? ... View more

I found some TCPDEBUG.* files in the folders C:\Users\{USER_NAME} on a SAS 9.3 server . Some of them are pretty large in size, from several hundreds MB to over 1 GB, consuming more and more space of my C: drive. From the file names and contents, they look like some debug logs. Is it OK to delete or archive them? And can I configure SAS not to generate them? ... View more

As title. There were 3 SAS servcies, by default running by Windows "localsystem" account: SAS Connect Spawner (BIG5), port 7551 SAS Connect Spawner (English), port 7552 SAS Connect Spawner (UTF8), port 7553 Can I run them by non-administrative account? If yes, what rights need to be granted to that account? ... View more
