and others
There is also a new interface: SAS/ACCESS Interface to HAWQ.
For most database interfaces, you have access to new options (PRE_TABLE_OPTS=, POST_TABLE_OPTS=, PRE_STMT_OPTS=, and POST_STMT_OPTS=) that enable you to modify the automatically generated CREATE TABLE statement.
Enhancements to SAS/ACCESS Interface to Hadoop include:
New SQOOP procedure that lets you access Apache Sqoop to transfer data between a database and HDFS
New options CONFIG= and CONFIGDIR= that define the name and location of bulk-load configuration files
Support for BINARY and DECIMAL data types
Enhancements for SAS/ACCESS Interface to Impala include:
CONFIG= and CONFIGDIR= options let you define the name and location of bulk-load configuration files
DRIVER_VENDOR= LIBNAME option lets you indicate the name of the vendor for your Hadoop distribution
Use ‘IMPALA’ in the LIBNAME statement to specify a connection to the IMPALA engine
Enhancements to SAS/ACCESS Interface to SAP HANA include:
SAS/ACCESS generates a default statement to read SAP HANA analytic views based on the metadata
PARMSTRING= and PARMDEFAULT= options enable you to specify default values for a list of parameters
SAS/ACCESS Interface to PostgreSQL automatically passes down the COMPRESS and COT functions from SAS for processing by the PostgreSQL engine.
SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata supports object names that contain up to 32 characters for users with Teradata 14.10 or higher.
SAS/ACCESS Interface to Microsoft SQL Server now supports Microsoft Windows for x86 and Microsoft Windows for x64 platforms.
