I love the month of May. The Kentucky Derby, warm weather, and vacations just around the corner to make things interesting. And of course, SAS Global Forum. But more on that later. It’s RUNDOWN time again where SAS’ very own Anna Brown dares you to “be there or be square” and discover all the cool stuff coming out in the latest SAS Viya release.
So, let’s get to the goods…
This show will cover updates in SAS Viya 2020.1.5., including a deep link URL to catalog table overview, support vector machine algorithms, visual model comparisons, and role-based governance over decision logic.
We’ll also take an in-depth look at SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning and a major new feature, interactive decision trees! Yep… you read that right, interactive decision trees have arrived.
Here’s what you’ll learn about in the Rundown:
SAS Studio Analyst
Wait what??? More SAS Studio additions? Yes, indeed friends. With the latest SAS Studio Analyst release you can customize steps to meet your specific needs. Wrap these custom steps into a UI that can be shared, reused, and executed inside of a flow.

It’s great when things you do every day get a bit easier. SAS Information Governance delivers! With this new release you can deep link URL to catalog table overview and copy the URL to detail table overview, as well as column analysis, and navigate to the page directly within SAS Information Governance. That is a mouthful but trust me… it’s a great addition.
