I love the month of May. The Kentucky Derby, warm weather, and vacations just around the corner to make things interesting. And of course, SAS Global Forum. But more on that later. It’s RUNDOWN time again where SAS’ very own Anna Brown dares you to be there or be square” and discover all the cool stuff coming out in the latest SAS Viya release.  

 

So, let’s get to the goods… 

 

This show will cover updates in SAS Viya 2020.1.5., including a deep link URL to catalog table overview, support vector machine algorithms, visual model comparisons, and role-based governance over decision logic. 

 

We’ll also take an in-depth look at SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning and a major new feature, interactive decision trees! Yep… you read that right, interactive decision trees have arrived.

I love SAS Visual Forecasting. You love SAS Visual Forecasting. Now that love goes deeper as this release enables users to visually compare multiple models and manually select and set a champion model on a series-by-series basis within SAS Visual Forecasting.

It’s great when things you do every day get a bit easier. SAS Information Governance delivers!  With this new release you can deep link URL to catalog table overview and copy the URL to detail table overview, as well as column analysis, and navigate to the page directly within SAS InformationGovernance.That is a mouthful but trust me… it’s a great addition.

SAS Visual Text Analytics 

And how could we ever not talk about SAS Visual Text Analytics.You can now publish major text analytics model types (Categories, Concepts, Sentiment, and Topics) to Micro Analytics Services, making them accessible from all web applications through REST APIs – with minimal development effort. Exciting to say the least!
