Hello,   I've currently created a SAS program that outputs an XLS file, that i later on open in Excel to apply a macro to it that removes empty lines. Is there any way I could skip the step where I open it in Excel and directly execute the macro in SAS? Note that I've looked for many hours and even asked a SAS consultant how I could do this directly in SAS but unfortunately I have to use this VBA macro.   Regards ... View more

Hello,   I'm facing a problem and haven't found a single solution after many hours of intense research... Basically I've got data that I'm exporting to an .xls file which I later on use in another VBA tool. The thing is the VBA tool parses my file according to line numbers from my XLS file. When I PROC PRINT, there is constantly an auto pagebreak after each table that is created, which is translated by an empty line in Excel, which creates errors in my "parser".   I've heard about an option to remove these pagebreaks in ODS HTML but it doesn't work in ODS EXCEL... Hello,   .So here's my issue: I've got a TABULATE procedure that gives me two variables called 2017 and 2018. The only thing is that this code needs to be flexible and used with initial data that isn't necessarily in 2017 or 2018 (it may be 2015 and 2016). I've got two macro variables stored in another program called year and year_n1 which in this case are respectively 2018 and 2017. In a PROC SQL, I need to rename these variables Year and YearN1.
