Hello,   after successful deployment of Campaign Management and Digital Marketing on new environment we have encountered performance issues with the aplication. Application is often very slow and tasks like update, preview table, execute in simple campaign sometimes take insanely long - like 5mins, or 15 mins....   This behaviour fluctuate throughout the day, cannot say that the application is faster in early portion of the day (after everyday restart) and slower in the afternoon. It's just overall slow with some deviations.   These are the steps we took to address the issue:   - Installed the latest hotfixes: DM6.5 http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/HF2/Z69.html    MA6.5  http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/HF2/Z77.html     - Worked on the stability of Object Spawner increasing the number of processes for campaigns (multibridge connections on STP server).   - Increased heap memory to recommended values and often higher values. Hello,   we have newly deployed Visual Analytics and after some testing i found out LASR servers are down. When i try to start them, i get Failed message and the Last Action Log (accessible through right-clicking one of the servers) says this:   EXCEPTION (SASJob PreCode) .  com.sas.svcs.jobexecution.client.TaskExecutionException: com.sas.services.connection.FatalConnectionFactoryException: The application could not log on to the server "VA_SERVERhostname.domain:8591".   At first i thought the problem is with firewall blocking port 8591.  But then i checked the connectivity from other servers (metadata, compute, midtier) to VA server on port 8591 and it was working (sending messages through ncat on port 8591 in linux).   Trying netstat -vatn | grep 8591 gives no results. Based on this i assume that firewall isnt blocking port 8591, but rather there is nothing listening on port 8591 on VA server. Hi,   can I ask for advice regarding tracking responses through SDM emails?   When executing a campaign that sends an email to a customer (in this case its test and it sends email to my inbox), the emails arrives, but no tracking is done.   After i open this email, it should make a "view" BESSEVENT into RESP0 table. There are also links that are supposed to be tracked when clicked, but its the same as with opening the mail - no record is done into RESP0.   What could be causing this? Hello,   we have been deploying SAS 9.4 on new servers. There is metadata server, compute server, midtier server and VA server. All SAS software has been installed and now i want to make some final configuration - in Digital Marketing to be exact.   Problem is i cant connect to DM server...   Here is what i do: - on Compute server (which should contain DM technical components) i run DMStudio using this path /config/Lev1/Applications/SASCustomerIntelligence/SASDigitalMarketing/studio   - in DMStudio i fill in the Midtier server and sasadm internal account (thats where port 9221 is opened)   - but is fails to connect (connectivity between Compute and Midtier server is working, so is the port)   Can someone please explain what am i doing wrong, or which log should i look into to give me a hint? (i looked at logs with my knowledge, but DM logs on Midtier show nothing new, nor did i find something elsewhere).   I was installing according to SAS plan they provided, but what can i do to make sure this approach to connect to DM is correct?
