Thanks Falko, I'm still not sure I can make this work. I can accomplish the discrete legend in a Bubble Plot using the method you suggest. However, the Geo Bubble Map requires a measure value, which produces a continuous legend. Something else I noticed is that I my ability to edit my color gradient and data ranges in my all of my objects is limited. We are using Visual Analytics 7.4 and the documentation says that I should be able to right-click the legend to edit colors and/or data ranges, which I cannot. There are three boxes next to the Color Gradient in my Styles tab, which I can edit. However, there are no color ramps available or other editing options in my Tree Map, Bubble Plot, etc., objects. Any idea what this might be?

I currently do most of my work in Enterprise Guide and am seeing SAS Studio in my future as we transition to Viya. I have a couple of projects set up with sequential and parallel processing. Do process flows in SAS Studio work pretty much the same way they do in Enterprise Guide?

Can someone help me identify the option that can adjust the distance between the x-axis and the tick values. I have tried TICKVALUEVALIGN, but it doesn't have any affect since all of my values are one a single line. I'd like to be able to move the values closer to the axis.

Reeza, Thank you for your suggestions. I am using code, and I had tried ODS NORESULTS to no avail. After reading through to the last post here: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Enterprise-Guide/Supressing-results-in-EG/m-p/342038#M22636 and receiving your reply, it occurred to me that I may need to place the ODS NORESULTS statement within the macro loop instead of at the top of the program. This seems to have solved my problem. Thank you!

I need to prevent a program from generating the html results that are created with proc gkpi. I am saving the gkpi image to an external directory and then pulling it into an ODS template with other text and graphics. I do not need the html output, but I haven't been able to figure out how to produce the images without it. I have turned off all results in Project Properties; but, the program continues to produce the results tab and html results and the project size grows very large. The program includes a do loop that iterates thousands of times and it appears to be generating an html result for each iteration.

I am also having this problem. It just seems to randomly occur, although it happens more when I submit multiple proc and/or data steps or try to run an entire project. When the error occurs, the only way I have found to move on without it reoccurring in the same place in the log is to submit a quit statement a couple of times and then step through the code one procedure at a time. I look forward to solving this. I did find this note: http://support.sas.com/kb/58/054.html . Could it be related?

Have you tried setting the aggregation property of your salary measure to 'Average' and then creating new calculated items?

If you are using the same item as a filter and a category for a bar chart, that behavior would be expected.
