Yes, SAS Server is installed on Windows Server. The users authenticate to the SAS server from their local (using EG) using windows auth.

Thank you for your response! I'm also the admin for the SAS Server, I did make sure that the ODBC connection is defined on the server and the ODBC driver that's on the server is "SQL Server Native Client 11.0" All of our users are able to connect to the SQL server using username and password on their local machines from SAS EG, no issues on that. We want to establish same connection using Windows Auth rather than providing sql credentials.

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to establish a connection to Microsoft SQL server from SAS EG using windows authentication. Could anyone please let me know if that's possible, then how it can be achieved, like the connection string & backend config prerequisites. Thank you very much for your reply! Would you mind sharing the process to move the libraries and datasets. Currently Our users have network access to the folder (Example: "Operations" ) on the SAS Server, where they save libraries, programs, datasets, etc.. they connect to the SAS application using Enterprise Guide. Goal is to move all the libraries/files to a different drive (like you suggested) or at least few files, so we can empty some space.

Hi Community, We are currently using Windows Version 9.4_M2 and we have it installed on (D:) drive (4TB). Our usage has been increasing and the disk space is getting filled up (D: 400 GB remaining). We already changed the Temp files location to a different drive. I was wondering if we can move some of the SASApp shared libraries to a different drive, so we can cleanup some space in (D:) drive. Can we configure multiple locations to write the SASApp Libraries and Files? Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Appreciate the help! Paulina

Hi Community, Some of our users facing an issue, When they open a Program after save and close they are not seeing program in the file anymore. I mean it's not showing under "process flow" (on top left). Programs are still there though, when they click "Run" button, they can run the project. I read a post for same issue. "Opening SAS project but programs are missing. Still programs run from "run" button" https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Enterprise-Guide/Opening-SAS-project-but-programs-are-missing-Still-programs-run/td-p/504675 they found a work around, not an actual solution. It's hard for the user to go through the workaround process every time. Could anyone please help me why it's causing and how to avoid? Thanks!

Hello Kurt, Thank you so much for your solution. I have installed the SAS Add-In for excel in my machine and it's working fine. I have Windows 7 OS and Microsoft Office was installed from a "Professional Plus 2013". But when I installed same Add-In for the user who requested, I'm not able to see the SAS Add-In on his excel. I have tried multiple ways.. like managing COM Add-ins, Disabled items, but couldn't find SAS Add-In. This user has Windows 10 OS and Microsoft Office has been installed from "Office 365 ProPlus" I read this issue is familiar with Office 365 ProPlus http://support.sas.com/kb/53/764.html. I have also tried adding the Add-in file manually, but it's not taking. And when I run the "SwitcherUtility" file I'm getting this error. "SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office has not finished initialization yet. Please invoke Microsoft Office to complete the initialization of the SAS Add-In." Could you please help me if there's any workaround for this issue? Thanks Again!
