Hi All, Am new to this hot fix, could some one tell me the step by step procedure to implement the hot fix. 1. is it ok to implement the hot fix on our own, or is it must to take the assistance from SAS 2. if not please let me know the major Do's and Dont's Thanks in advance.

SAS AML runs on Three Tier Architecture, If am not wrong they are as follows SAS Metadata Server SAS Compute Server SAS Mid-tier Server Could any one furnish the functionality in brief about these servers.

What is a header code, is it generated automatically if yes, How?? if no, how to generate it? I can relate fsk_header & fsk_header_element but.... Could any one explain about the concept of header code please.. P.S. SAS AML 5.1

The source to staging transition will be of simple select and simple functions like cast, and case when statements using joins to join the two or more source table and inserting into the staging table. Its better to ask the ETL Team to share the scripts for better understanding.
