Exactly, that is the way to go, I also prefer that one. I LOVE SAS Studio and the metadata security delwgation is quite reliable.   The other option is interesting where security policies are really strict at some companies.... or where you want to make SAS Web Application servers a bit more lightweight 🙂 ...
