Hi I have a simple data step where I am trying to create a cumulative number column (CumulativeNumber) based on the value of another column (DistributiveNumber). This column resets to 0 each time a new section of County Year AgeRange ExitMonthCategory is reached. However as the attached example shows it is re-setting, but not summing correctly. If you see anything wrong with the below code, please let me know. Hi Everyone I am trying to rename some values in a data step using a simple "if then" statement. When I try to do this using the values in 'DispositionType' below, I cannot get it to execute the "then" part of it. It just leaves the values as is. I have increased the length of 'DispositionType' to 50 characters to accommodate the new length of the values to no avail. I have other "if thens" below that are executing fine, so I don't know what is wrong with this one. Any ideas on this would be appreciated. Hi I would like to merge two data sets with the intent of just adding one column (Denominator) to the "s6Freq72Numerator" data set. I thought I was able to easily do this in the past, but maybe not. The code I thought would be successful in doing this is below. However, when I use this, the resulting data set is not sorted by exitMonthCategory and and there are missing records from "s6Freq72Numerator". I am attaching a spreadsheet that has an example of the data from the "s6Freq72Numerator" and "s6Freq72Denominator" data sets and what I was intending as the result. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
