Hi I am trying to merge two data sets that have one common variable. There are some records that are shared between them. What I want to do is to create a merged data set that has all the records in the bigger 's1net' data set with the columns from the smaller 'freedkids' data set merged in for the IDs that are in the 's1net' data set and in the 'freedkids' data set. When I run the below merge, I am getting the correct records and all the columns are merged together, however, there are no values for the 'freedkids' data set variables, just the variable headers. Hi If I have a date variable in '03MAR2010' format and just want to add 60 days onto it, there a way to just add 60? I tried doing something like date + 60 and that did not work--the bolded part below. Hi Is there a way to compare a variable across records for a given sub-set of records? Hi I am running the below merge statement for two files--which are attached. When I run the statement, the values for CourtJurisdiction from each file are missrepresented in the merged file for both. In the underlying files, the value for NYS is 40426 and the value for NYC is 23213. In the merged file, the NYS is 40424 and the value for NYC is 23212. I cannot seem to figure out why this is happening. There are many other files in this merge statement, but I just enclosed two for this example. There are also several processes that run before this statement. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
