Hi First create a data set that holds the list of files to check, there are different approches to that, like FILENAME statement with the PIPE access method. Once you have the list you can use a second DATA Step to read the first line of each file, Have a look at the FILEVAR= option of the INFILE statement. Using just and empty INPUT; statement read the first line. Then you can use the COUNTW function to count the number of "words" delimited by "09"x (hexadecimal for TAB char). Bruno

Hi The error handling within the STP should return the proper error message. However it looks like you can not reset the SYSCC macro var. Have a look here http://support.sas.com/kb/56/197.html and check whether the necessary hotfix is applied. Bruno

Hi You can also use DATA Step functions in the macro language by using %SYSFUNC. The SCAN function returns "words" deilmited by some chars. Hi You can use the sas-list-objects batch tool to list all the job and their corresponding folder, like so: ...\SASHome\SASPlatformObjectFramework\9.4\tools>sas-list-objects.exe -host someName -port 8561 -user yourUser -password yourPassword -types Job -format csv > c:\temp\joblist.csv Another way of doing it would be using the %MDSECDS macro like so: %mdsecds(memberTypes="Job") Using this method, you already have all the information as a SAS data set.

Hi just remove the total variable from the ARRAY statement, and you get the graph you need. In the data provided, you only have one total value related to Time_one, Time_two etc., but you need it for A,B etc. so the data has to be changed. One can use the XAXISTABLE to add addional information below the X axis. Adding images is realy easy, as long as you have an image in the clipboard, just use Ctrl-V to insert the image. As an alternative you can use "Insert/edit Image" tool in the editor to insert saved images.

Hi in the status ahndling you can also define "custom", this will allow you to run any code you want. You can model your code similar to the one used by the "SEND ENTRY TO DATASET" then you have all the flexibility you need. You should package the code into a autocall macro, so you can change or extend the code without actually change the call to the macro. Also have a look at the condition send job status, this might be helpful as well Bruno

Hi By default the number of rows is displayed. hi I might not have fully understand the task, but there are some handy functions that will help you with this. The example below uses the LARGEST function to the return the largest as well as the second largest values. hi first use single quotes and then use the appropriate flags. from the doc Specifying OMI_GET_METADATA and Other GetMetadata Flags To specify a GetMetadata flag in a GetMetadataObjects request, add the flag’s value to the OMI_GET_METADATA flag and to any other GetMetadataObjects flags that you have set. For example, if OMI_XMLSELECT (128) is already set, and you want to specify OMI_GET_METADATA (256) and OMI_ALL_SIMPLE (8) to get all of the attributes of each object, add their values together (128+256+8=392) and specify the sum in the FLAGS parameter. Hi Macro triggers are only resolved when the string is within double quotes. So your code has to start with Proc Metadata in=" sometext "; run; So your code can look like this: %let publicType = Folder; proc metadata in=" <GetMetadataObjects> <Reposid>$METAREPOSITORY</Reposid> <Type>Root</Type> <Objects/> <NS>SAS</NS>  <Flags>128</Flags> <Options>  <XMLSELECT search=""Tree[@PublicType='&publicType'][AssociatedIdentity/Person]""/> </Options> </GetMetadataObjects> " ; run; Please note, since the '&publicType' is within some other double quotes the macro trigger is resolved. Also note we need to have two double quotes at the beginning and end of the <XMLSELECT search= Another way of doing this, would be to write the XML into a file, this gives you alot more control and also allows to read SAS data sets and build your XML.
