How do I add prompt to filter in Query setting. So when users open the report it prompts them to input two date values. I created the prompt in Prompt Manager. Below is the image of where I want to use my prompt. Thanks

Hi, How do I create a new column where the time stamp is removed? Please see the image below for how the column, IGTAccountCreated, is structured. I want a new column with the time stamp removed. How I go about that? I need the time stamp removed because Prompt Manager does not recognize time stamp at the end of the date. It only recognize by this format: "March 17, 2015". See image below for my prompt setting. I formatted IGTAccountCreated to "01Jan14".I know the prompt worked because when I ran the process it does not gave me an error but no data shown.

Please see the image below. Under the heading "GuestNumber" I want the statistics to be Distinct not 'N'. Can I do that in Summary Tables. Our data set is like this: A guest plays multiple times in a month, each row contains information for that day when they played, please see the second image.

I tried that but could not seem to make it work. How would I exactly do it? I saved it as a dataset. Then redo the Summary Tables again. It does not gave a count of distinct GuestNumber. Can I have Distinct available in Available Statistics in Summary Tables;

Hi, your advice is helpful. The report requires to look like a table using EG tool, Summary Tables. Under the column Count Distinct_of_GuestNumber, it actually has number of counts. I want distinct counts of GuestNumber. Is it possible using Summary Tables?

Please look at fourth line. This is what I want to do. Under the heading 'Count Distinct_of_GuestNumber'n*, I want to show the count of distinct. And I know that code does not work for Proc Tabulate. That could work on some cases. But what if I do a count-we call it 'gaming trips'- and it defines as one gaming day. In this case GuestNumber 3 will have three gaming trips. I do I make the date distinct?

I'm trying all of suggestions here. Still new to SAS so it takes some times to see if they work. Much appreciated. Below are images of my dataset. In order: Guest, Slot, Table and result. Slot DataSet Table dataset Below is the result I wanted but as you can see how SlotPlayDate data repeats itself until a new date was available. I don't want that to happen. How can I create a new column that combines SlotPlayDate and TablePlayerDayDate1 together?

Hi, I do have dataset Guest but it does not have PlayDate. I want to combine SlotGuestNumber and TableGuestNumber under the a new column GuestNumber. Same goes with SlotPlayDate and Table PlayDate under a new column "PlayDate".
