Please look over the following:   Indicator Range Number i_20304 >= 1.64214 AND < 2.03922 14 i_20304 >= 1.64214 AND < 2.43629 19 i_20304 >= 1.64214 AND < 2.83337 11 i_20304 >= 1.64214 AND < 3.23044 17 i_20304 >= 1.64214 AND < 3.62751 13 The Range refers to the particular Indicator, and Number of those.   Data set contains over 5 million rows of such.  Different Indicators, different Ranges, different Numbers of each.   I'm trying to summarize all this data.   Proc Freq works great as far as Indicator and Number.   But incorporating Range (a categorical variable) into the summary is a mystery.   One possibility would be to concatenate Indicator and Range.  Then use Proc Freq.   Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.  Particularly any other procedure that can handle "ranges" of data.   Nicholas Kormanik     ...   Suppose the following:   data concatenation; set animal plant; run; Given a long list of SAS data sets, I would prefer to use a "data set list".  Apparently in order to do so, the data sets have to begin with the same character.   Example: set library.a: ;   Suppose all data sets have different starting characters.  And I'd rather not rename them all, so as to have a common first character.   Combine (stack, concatenate) ALL the data sets in this particular 'library', please....   Suggestions or thoughts greatly appreciated.   Is there a Proc SQL equivalent that I could use?   Thanks!   Nicholas Kormanik         ... Greetings.   I have one script/program file full of steps (let's call it "script.sas").  At the beginning of the script I place a macro variable, which is referred to throughout the script.   %let item=a001;   In the above macro variable, the value "a001" is one of many, let's say 100 different values in total.   i.e., a001 a002 a003 . . a100     Is there any way of passing all these macro variable values from a batch file?   Something along the lines of:   %include "a001" ; %include "a002" ; %include "a003" ;     Another idea might be to use the file name, so change:   script.sas --> a001.sas   Create a different file for each macro variable value.  Then tell SAS to use the name of the script as the macro variable value?    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.   Nicholas Kormanik     ...
