gplot: sum on symbol like sum on bar in gchart possible?

Dear all, I have a plot with connected symbols. Is it possible to write the vaxis value on top of each symbol like in this example? I know it is possible with prog gchart... vbar. Dear all, I have the following plot: There are negative and positive values on the vaxis. And there's one referential line in green. Unfortunately the line on zero is not displayed. Dear all, I have a vbar chart with sums of each bar that are displayed inside the bar: proc gchart data=mydata;      vbar year / sumvar = mysum                     group = quartal                     type = sum                     inside = sum /* that's how the sum is shown inside the bar instead of on top */                     discrete; run; quit; That's ok. But now I'd like to rotate the sum by 90 degrees and print them in white font color. And: the sums should be valign center inside the bars. Dear Robert, it works. Thanx a lot. And I agree what you say about the legend being twice the information I already have on the maxis. Though I told him this the customer wants the legend withoug the values written on the maxis. That's life. And yes, the colored bars become a problem when they change in number - 5 instead of 3. But we have to use the company's colors instead of SAS standrad colors. It would be great if I could say: use any shade of blue for whatever number of bars. Best wishes Eva ... View more

Dear all, in the sas help I read that there is no legend displayed in a hbar graph when I don't use subgroup. My customer nonetheless wants one 😞 How can I do it? Dear all, ich have a hbar chart where I want to have autoref dashed in grey: proc gchart data=mydata;      vbar year / sumvar = mysum                     group = mygroup                     type = sum                     discrete                     autoref lref = 2 cref=grey; run; quit; That's ok how it is. Now I'd like to have an additional reference line at 85 in the color red and not dashed but a solid line. How can I do this by still having the autoref like in the example above? Dear all, I tried a little mor and was surprised what works: compute myfield;      call define(_col_,'style','style={htmlstyle="mso-number-format:0.00%"}'); endcomp; just changing the brackets to "style={htmlstyle='mso-number-format:0.00%'}" didn't work, but having single quotation marks around the style and double quotation marks around the mso-number-format worked. msoffice2k percentage format in call define of proc report

Dear all, I have a proc report which I output to ods tagset.msoffice2k. I use SAS 9.2 and Office XP. In the proc report I'd like to format a number with the format percent10.2. Here is the code for the html output which works: compute myfield;      call define(_col_,'FORMAT',"percent10.2"); endcomp; Can anybody tell me how to do this for the tagset msoffice2k ? Hi Mgarret, if you want to put all report tables on one page then don't use title. Use ods pdf text=""; instead. ods pdf text="your first title"; proc report....; run; ods pdf text="your second title"; proc report...; run; etc. Best wishes Eva ... View more

Dear all, I create pdf output with a graph, a vbar. As soon as I set titles, der vertical size of the graph gets very small - too small - it doesn't use all of the paper I have. Here's my code (I use SAS 9.2 with UNIX in the SAS portal): options orientation=landscape papersize=a3; ods pdf body=_webout style=sasweb notoc uniform; [this is where I would put the title - code see below] goptions device=sasprtc ftext="helvetica" cback=white colors=(CX113388,CX426BB2,CX819CCC,CXB3C4DC); proc gchart data=work.mygraph;      vbar field1 / group=field2 freq=field3 patternid=midpoint frec discrete raxis=axis1 maxis=axis2 gaxis=axis3;      axis1 label=(h=10 angle=90 color=black 'My label') minor=none;      axis2 label=none;      axis3 label=none; run; quit; If I don't use a title the graph is ok in size (yet vsize nor ypixels help in enlarging it vertically). Now when I use title where I indicated in the code above (or within the proc step - effect it the same) the graph gets smaller. And it even gets smaller when I user more titles: title "My heading"; title2 "some remarks"; title3 "blabla"; ... title9 "text"; I then have the title on the top of the page followed by much white space and then a small strip of vbar graph followed by much white space. Dear Dan, with goptions vsize = 6in now the graph is on the first page but the ods pds text is not shown. And I have another problem (which occured before as well). I want to disply the page numbers in the footnote: ods escapechar = '~'; footnote "Page ~{thispage} of ~{lastpage}"; The footnote is displayed but thispage and lastpage are displayed just as it is written between the " and ".
