שלום @Sheril1    בהנחה שאת עובדת עם SAS Studio 3.8 ובהנחה שאת מנסה לפתוח תוכנית SAS ורואה סימני שאלה זה כנראה בגלל שה encoding של תוכנית ה SAS איננו UTF8. אפשר להגיד ל SAS Studio לפתוח את הקוד עם encoding אחר (שמתאים לקידוד האמיתי של התוכנית). זה מהתיעוד של SAS Studio:   Note: You can also specify the text encoding when you open a single file by right-clicking the file and selecting Open with text encoding. Hi experts,   I an kind of new to SAS VI so please excuse me if this is a basic question 🙂 I am creating an internal entity which will be edited by some users of the VI system. I have two questions:   1. I need to make one of the fields that I have defined for this internal entity to be unique (no duplicate values). How can this be done? 2. I need to pull the data (i.e. table rows) for this internal entity in a SAS batch process. Hi experts,   Question is for SAS Viya 2022.9   In PROC LUA one could invoke SAS functions directly for example:   proc lua; submit; local dsid = sas.open("sashelp.class") for row in dsid:rows() do print(row.age, row.height) end dsid:close() endsubmit; run;   I am struggling to do the same with PROC PYTHON. For example to invoke the "sas.open" function I found only this way which is kind of cumbersome compared to PROC LUA:   dsid = SAS.sasfnc("open","sashelp.class")   And I could not find the equivalent of "dsid:rows()" in PROC PYTHON. Hi experts,   I have successfully downloaded and invoked SAS Analytics Pro container image (SAS Viya 4 2022.9 stable release https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/anprocdc/v_016/anprowlcm/home.htm ) on my laptop and it is running in Docker Desktop. I also have VS Code installed on the same laptop with the SAS extension for VS code. I am trying to connect the VS Code SAS extension to the SAS Viya container image without success. Has anyone managed to get this configuration to work? If so, any tips?   Thanks! ... View more

Hi experts,   Question is how to force IWA from EG 8.x on Windows desktop to SAS 9.4M7 Metadata Server on Linux to automatically append the domain name to the account name (user name)?   Currently, when an end user opens up EG and selects to use the IWA option to connect to the Metadata Server, the username that SAS Metadata Server looks up is “username” whereas we want the SAS Metadata Server to lookup “username@domain” or "domain\username" in the list of accounts it maintains for proper identification of the end user.   Anyone has any idea if this is doable and how to accomplish?   Thanks, Eyal ... I am afraid I do not have a sample as this is deployed at a customer site but I can explain the idea for ESP 6.2. I assume it is the same for newer versions:   - use this adapter: https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/espcdc/6.2/espca/n0jm4fbcrh370on1j3d4w0xpl9xr.htm   - this adapter has an option called  intelligentdecisioningformat=true|false   so use this option with the value = true    - you need to have a valid token for invoking MAS from ESP so you need to generate the token externally to ESP (like with a script that runs every 10 hours) and then in the ESP flow you need to join the event with this token (that you can read using the CSV adapter for example) so to have the token as a field in the ESP event. Then you can point the REST adapter to this field using this parameter: tokeneventfield= field   ... View more

Hi experts,   We have ESP 6.2 and need to set a rolling-time limit on number/count of events that can reach a certain window in the ESP flow. For example, no more than 10000 events in 15 minutes. If more events arrive the ones over 10000 should be written to an external CSV file and not to the window.
