You cannot open explorations using SAS Mobile BI. You should be able to save the exploration as a report and then open the report. Explorations are not saved in the SAS Content Server. They are metadata objects.

If you have recently upgraded to 7.4 on Windows, you might find that printing and/or distribution is failing. This SAS note explains the issue: http://support.sas.com/kb/60/424.html The Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Packages are required to be on the midtier. After you install the packages, PDF creation should succeed immediately. No server restart is required.

Because I think it is likely that the BI Lineage reporting will meet your needs. For example, you can use the plug-in "...to identify the information maps, cubes, and tables that provided the source data, as well as any stored processes that processed the data." It also produces SAS data sets that you can use to create Web Report Studio reports that analyze the data. You would have to create and deploy a new application theme. I believe the restriction is specifically the compute server (where the workspace server is) and the middle tier being on different machines. Where is VA running in relation to the compute tier? If they are on different computers with different operating systems, then the audit and relationship data feeds are not supported. In addtion, if you have the SAS Visual Analytics Administration and Reporting (VAAR) product, then auditing is not supported. Enabling the Export Data capability in the Report Viewer role should enable them to export data. Does that not work for you? Although, the recommended way to customize roles is to create a new one, since you cannot reset the built-in roles to the default settings.

Unlike the other geo maps, the region map uses a stored process. The most common reason why the stored process doesn't run is that the stored process is not set to execute on the SAS Application Server that Visual Analytics is using. For example, you might have Visual Analytics running on SASAppVA but the stored process is executing on SASApp. To check the execution server, log in to SAS Management Console with an administrative account. On the Folders tab, navigate to /System/Applications/SAS Web Infrastructure Platform/Web Infrastructure Platform 9.4/Utilities. Right-click GeographicMappingService, open its Properties and look at the Execution tab.

What is not working for the region maps? Is there an error? Look in the lower right corner for a yellow warning symbol. If you see one, hover over it to see if it displays more detail.

The most likely reason is that the user is not in a role that has the Export Data capability assigned.

After you have chosen your first data source, you add additional data sources by clicking on the Data tab. This opens the Add Data Source window. Select the data source that you want, and then click Add. Then, you switch between the data sources using the data source drop-down list at the top of the Data tab. To allow SAS Web Report Studio to retrieve values, you will need to edit the data items in the information map. In the information map, open the properties for each data item that you want to filter. Select Value-Generation Method Select User selects values from a dynamic list. Save the changes. Now you should be able to retrieve values in Web Report Studio. You might need to log out and back in to see the changes in the map.

Yes, in fact, you can use more than one data source within a single section.
