But the documentation you pointed to is for SAS 9.2 - so it is possible that these commands didn't exist in the prior version 9.1.3. Chris, I am currently unable to test some scenarios on my machine (blaming it on the snow). But I was able to find some reference to the graphics device drivers that Web Report Studio should be using. The page: http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/biwaag/63059/HTML/default/a002994053.htm states ~ "By default, the ACTIVEX device driver is used for graphs in stored process output. This format requires users to install a graph control on their local system in order to render the graph. However, to maintain a zero footprint on the client, SAS Web Report Studio does not require this installation. Therefore, when the stored process is run in SAS Web Report Studio, the ACTXIMG device driver is substituted so that a static image is created. Similarly, if the JAVA device driver is specified, then the JAVAIMG device driver is substituted automatically." Try adding a line of code at the top of your stored process: goptions device=ACTXIMG; and then attempt a rerun in WRS. (My guess is that the substitution isnt happening properly.) MrE, I was able to duplicate your issue in my version of the sys (4.2 M1). It appears that this option isn't yet available. A recommendation would be to write a SAS stored process that completes this. Do you experience the same results when you try the following options: 1. Have different solve orders (1, 2, 3) rather than the same number? 2. Remove the solve_order option altogether? The solve_order option is utilized when measures are depending on one another. Is it always & only the coiso_mensal? If so, another suggestion would be to modify the first measure's name so that no spaces exist. These categorical colors would be available anytime that information map was used. So any new WRS report off the same information map would have these colors available within the tables. In 4.2, you can create a Date Filter, hidden from the user, that uses the 'Today' value. This is done within the Information Map. In the prior versions, you can generate an expression in a hidden information map filter that uses the SAS Function today(). Note: The hidden filter is then forced on all uses of the Information Map. To pass a filter to a WRS report, in the 'Links' tab of the BI Dashboard Indicator, you will need to specify the report name and then add a parameter. (See the Define the Links pg: http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/bidbrdug/61856/HTML/default/indicatornew.htm#n1inog0ruoowqin0zukj1asnk00r) The key trick is that this parameter MUST have the exact same name as what is DISPLAYED to the user in the prompt (the 'Displayed Text' field). I copied & pasted from the Prompt in Information Map into the BI Dashboard Indictor screen, as spaces, cap letters, etc might not allow the match to occur (course, I didnt test that - but to eliminate any issues this seemed like the best approach). Note - I was unable to get this parameter passing to work when the WRS report itself contained a custom prompt. I had to create a prompt in the Information Map. Also - There is a known bug with this functionality in SAS 9.2M2. If you are at that version, set the BI Dashboard indicator link screen to open the link in 'New Window', then from the Portal view, click the parameter two times (just ignore the first screen), then the report will pass the parameter. Funny you posted this. I was noticing the same thing. My data source is a base sas table (no information map, just proc sql code) - I tried changing the formats within the sas table itself and then within the proc sql code. It actually was resetting EVERYTHING to BEST. format. So I even loose my $ signs. Anyhow, you can run the following statement during your SAS ETL to round to the nearest .1 decimal place: val=round(val, .1) (you could change .1 to 0.01 to round to nearest one-hundredth ~ for instance) I am pretty sure you could customize the expression in your information map to also do this. I tried the user defined formatted value first, but none of the html tags were handled properly. So then I tried the user defined format with the checkbox for hyperlink displays, and that also didnt work. A macro might be possible, but it would need to convert the values before the data is displayed to the user. I would think that the support data set joining into each needed information map is possibly the best practice since it would be standardized/consistent, however there could be performance problems with completing this join each & every time. Okay. I was able to figure this out! You will need to create a new column (or overwrite the existing) in your data table and include the categorical value surrounded by HTML tags to create the color. Such as font color=RED Canada /font (with proper less than / greater than signs around the HTML tags) Then in the information map, you will need to use this column for your reports & check the box called 'Display as a hyperlink' in the classification aggregation format property screen of that data element. Of course 'Conditional Highlighting' is available, but this only works for numeric values.
