I am using SAS 9.1.3 and outputting to RTF. Whether or not I use BODYTITLE to produce my outputs, I always get a blank line after my titles, and before my footnotes in my output (using PROC REPORT, PROC GPLOT, etc.). Using the following that I found elsewhere: ODS MARKUP TYPE=STYLE_POPUP FILE="general_faq0007_1.htm" STYLESHEET="general_faq0007.css"; < procedure > ODS MARKUP CLOSE; I can see that the section I'm referring to is the "branch", but I don't know how to modify this. Can anybody please help me?

Hi all, I am not sure whether can programming access SAS v8 stored process. So far I know, version 9 have good support for that. Is it possible to access SAS v8 from Integration Technology 9.1?? thanks a lot!

Actually, you can do this. I went through the same problem you have and I found it quite annoying. Just play around with the different "thumb tacks" for the various windows, and you should be able to create a similar view in EG 4.1 as you had in version 3.

Has anyone run into this? I use EG3. I install EG 4.1 and try to run it. I get no server in repository. When I try to create a new server in repository, it won't let me. I get through the whole process and hit "Finish". I get "Server can not be created: ?". I was told that EG 4.1 would import EG 3 servers if they were configured. It did not do that. I would like to use EG 4.1, but cannot. This looks like a permissions problem, but I have tried everything I can think of to fix it with no positive results. Does anyone have ANY suggestions?? thanks, Jim.

Is it 'necessary' to use Xythos as content management server for installation? Xythos needs to associate with a dbms. For simplicity, can we just we plain files to store the content? Thanks

Hi, I am doing logistic regression and I used GLIMMIX procedure to be able to incorporate random effects in my analysis. I also used AIC to choose the best model over candidate ones. I found strange results with AIC from GLIMMIX. When I compare the analysis in GENMOD and in GLIMMIX I found different best models. Did someone noticed that there is some problems in AIC computed with GLIMMIX? Thanks!

BTW- not all of EG 3 is .NET based, but the vast majority of the application is... Unfortunately, one of the most frequently used areas of EG, the Query task, wasn't migrated (and also streamlined and improved) to .NET until 4.1. That said, speaking with some of my dev managers, we did find some other memory management areas in 3 that have been improved in 4.1. If you haven't migrated to 4.1, I strongly recommend it given your scenario. Please advise with more feedback once you have a chance to review. Best regards, Stephen

EG allows you to seamlessly work across Workspace servers, thus doing work on two separate servers. Stored processes run on a single server specified by you during the SP publishing wizard. To simulate a similar result, you could use SAS CONNECT with rsubmit's enabling remote submission from the SP server to the 2nd server. Likewise, you could force users to run one stored process and then the 2nd stored process for the same result. Finally, you could ensure all needed libraries are mapped on the stored process server. You could have your daily transaction update program flag a status table once all updates are completed. New_Data="Yes" You could schedule your SAS job to run hourly and have it check this table for updates. If "Yes", then run the SAS analysis and reports and at the end update the New_Data table in SQL Server, if "No", do nothing. You will want ACCESS to SQL Server (or ODBC or OLE DB depending on your setup.) Regards, Stephen
