Who else is ready? I'm really excited to be presenting at SAS Global Forum. I'm been able to attend or present at all but one of the regional user groups and have presented at a ton of the local and corporate user groups, but this is my first time presenting at Global Forum! Who else is a newbie presenter? Tips from the experienced SAS Global Forum presenters? I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, please stop by the SAS Cares Booth and introduce yourself.

To save to a .txt file you can use the Save Data Node under the utility Tab

You can designate your data to be whatever role you want it to be. I created the image below to show you one file is set to Train and the second file is set to Test. I can then feed them both into the next node in the flow.

You can use the filter node either before or after the merge. In my example I merged on some predictions values, so the records that did not have a value for phat (my prediction variable) I filtered out. This gave me a dataset with only the rows I wanted. Just be sure to set the properties for Class and interval variables to NONE and click on the ellipse (indicated below) to specify the filter you want. Here's what my filter looks like for phat You can also use the SAS code node to filter. Here's a simple example of how that would work.

I don't believe you can do this in the merge. You may try filtering either after or before to get your result. I'm not clear if you are looking for an inner join, left or right join based on your post. If you can clarify I may be able to give a more specific answer.

Are you using SAS programming or an interface like Enterprise Guide or SAS Studio. This is very easy to do using PROC Transpose once you have the data imported into SAS.

Check the rerun property for all those nodes. If any node is set to rerun all the nodes after it will rerun everytime you run the flow.
