How did you use data visualizations to tell a story about your data? What tools did you use?
The powerful integration of data allows my internal customer to run self-service visualization quickly for reporting and monitoring purposes for key decision makers of the organization. Effectively reducing time to generate and analyze insights. I used a combination of SAS tools: SAS EG and SAS StudioV for data management and SAS Viya - Visual Analytics for visualization.
Why was it important for your organization to hear this story?
With a commitment to high quality, personalized health care coverage, I wanted to modernize the analytics environment to visualize and generate reports on several key metrics, including procedure costs, patient costs over time and utilization of care.
How did the story have a positive impact on your organization? Please quantify if possible.
In 2022, I created 7 self-service SAS Viya dashboards for my internal customers. The customers love the quick and easy visualization capabilities that help them make sense of health care data, informing planning and decision making.

Dashboards visualize the savings of programs over time, informing financial decisions to optimize costs.
