Well, that's your assignment all there.

What have you tried so far?

Which part are you having issues with?

Here's a fully worked example of cox regression with categorical predictors which is the closest to your question.

Hello,

I need help in being able to code the following: (attached is my dataset)

  • Descriptive and univariate statistics for continuous variables and contingency tables (chi-square) for categorical variables among those who survived versus who died.

  • Assessed interaction between sex differences and mortality risk in unadjusted and adjusted models

  • Multivariate analysis stratified by gender

  • Cox proportional hazard models were computed to estimate the frailty related hazard ratios (HR) for mortality over the 9 year study period for men and women using the three-level frailty categorization (non-frail, prefrail and frail)

  • Controlling for the following covariates
    • Age
    • Marital status
    • Education
    • BMI
    • History of Smoking
    • Heart attack
    • Stroke
    • Hypertension
    • Cancer
    • Hip fracture
    • Diabetes

Everything you ask for is presented in one or another of the examples for the various procedures in the documentation.  Why not try some of them out? The code and representative data are available for every example.  If you get something that doesn't seem to make sense, or just breaks down completely, then you could come back and ask us how we might address those problems.  But I, for one, am not going in blindly and start making suggestions.

You have contributed to a consultant's nightmare - a client brings in data, says he would like a list of things, but never describes the question their data was supposed to address, or how the data were collected, or who their ultimate audience might be, or what decisions may be made based on the results of the analysis.

What is ANOVA?

ANOVA, or Analysis Of Variance, is used to compare the averages or means of two or more populations to better understand how they differ. Watch this tutorial for more.
