Hello guys! I have got an annoying problem. When I start proc lifetest session SAS is processing it for too long time and doesn’t give any results. I have only running circle on my screen. The whole SAS isn’t working. Break button doesn’t work, if I choose “interrupt the current process” it is not working. I tried to restart my computer but it didn’t help too. Do you have any suggestions or ideas about what to do with this issue? The last message that I have in my log is :”Writing HTML Body file: sashtml.htm”

The code works on other computers but not on mine. I think it’s the problem on my computer. What can it be?

Are you running it on the same data set?

If your data is "large enough" it may be what you are seeing is a very long delay while SAS formats 100's if not 1000's of output tables and/ or graphs.

Suggestion: Create a copy of your data set with only 10 observations and run the code with that. If that completes then we know it is data related.

But do share the code.

Try logging onto another computer yourself and running the program. If it still runs OK, then you can exclude the possibility that the problem is something to do with your Windows account. In that case I suspect there is something wrong with your SAS installation so reinstalling SAS might be worth trying.

Maybe there are too many ouput dumped into sashtml.htm.
Try to close all of destination to save your resource.
Put the following line at the top of your code:

ods _all_ close;
