If I highlight a value in a sas report results tab, the entire results section is selected instead of the value I highlighted. So, I have to paste that report somewhere else and then copy the single value or word that I wanted.  Select-and-copy should work like it does in all text editors.

Are you using listing for your reports or HTML or something else?

I believe the default is HTML so it's not a text document at all, it's more analogous to copying data off a webpage. If you output the listing destination, which is just text, that shouldn't be a problem though.

Your default might not be others default. So clearly state what type of output you a generating. Also I see you added the Enterprise Guide tag, but did not mention EG in the actual post. Is this just an issue in EG?  Do you have the same issue using Display Manager?  Using SAS/Studio?  Also what version of

@Tom I have no idea if it's a problem anywhere besides EG.  I tagged it EG because it's relevant to EG.

Results set to SAS Report (HTML Blue).  Version is 7.15HF2

Hi Tom,

This is a bug/limitation with the SAS Report Result format.

You can use HTML or TEXT to work around the limitation.

I will enter a defect, if one does not already exist, into our system to see if R&D is able to fix it.

Regards,

Bill

Thanks, @BillSawyer.  It's a simple irritant that would be nice to fix.
