Limit the type of item to include in the "Recent Items" list of the "Sart Page" in SAS EG 8.2

I would like to be able to select only the items I need to be listed in the "Recent Items" list. My preference would be to select only SAS Programs and EG projects.

I don't want to get any table that I open or any library I access in the list.

I agree 100%. 

 

I entered this suggestion into our system so that SAS Enterprise Guide R&D (product management, developers, designers) can consider this for a future release.

A year and a half ago this was under consideration.  Any update?  The recent items list was much better in 7.1.  Can't a simple option be added where we can select .egp, .sas, .sas7bdat, etc?  It's basically unusable the way it is since datasets are dominating my list.
