Not sure if this is the right 'community' to post this.  I did not find one for "SAS Information Map Studio".  If this is incorrect, please let me know where I should post this question.

I have built a prompt in SAS Information Map Studio 4.2 that accepts user enter values.  The data item the prompt is associated with is stored in uppercase text.  I am having an issue of the report not returning rows because of the case.  For example, they enter "Incoming" and the data item is stored as "INCOMING".  I can not figure out how to capture the value the user enters and put the function 'UPCASE' on it.  On the edit filter screen it looks like this:

Filter name : note_topic_prompt

Data item   : note

Condition   :  Like

Values:

   Prompt user for values(s)

   &note_topic_prompt [note_topic_prompt]

Can I convert whatever they enter into upper case or do they specifically have to enter upper case?

Thanks

This note was from 3.1 but I presume that you can use the same logic.  I think that you only need to apply the upcase function.

You can ignore case in your prompt, if that is any use
