My web report should output the report in to a folder depending on team. If the 'Operations' department user is accessing the report then it should be output to the Operations folder and if 'Fraud' team is accessing the report then it should be output to the Fraud folder. How can we do this? I was thinking that we create different groups, Fraud, Operations and when the user runs the report, identify the group and output accordingly. Any idea how this can be done?

Arey you talking about metadata groups?

Users can be members of multiple groups (and often are). You need to first define a rule for precedence.

Yes metadata groups. I'm thinking of creating two groups one for Fraud and other for Operations with access to the same report but different physical write access

So does anyone know how can I get the group names for the logged in user id

SAS Web Report Studio does not do data-entry or save any output, so I am a bit confused about what you are trying to do. Is this a stored process being executed in Web Report Studio?

For getting the group names, maybe this will help:
