I "right click" in the WRS table and "export", then choose EXCEL and OPEN.
For me, the report opens inside EXCEL .
However for other users in my company it opens "inside" microsoft Explorer.
(only saving it and reopening will open Excel with the worksheet inside).
Anyone can tell me why?

My guess is that this is actually related to Windows rather than SAS.

For your machine, the file type extensions have allowed this type of file to be opened by Excel. Determine the file type that is being opened by default from this export. Then compare the machines. Check on the file type assignments (in Windows Explorer, go to Tools -> Folder Options, and move to the File Type tab).

Thanks... I got the answer (Angela's reply took me part of the way)...
Under "folder options" there is an "ADVANCED" botton .
It has a checkbox "open in the same window" ,
so since the WRS is in explorer, it forces excel to open in explorer.
UNCHECK this and the WRS table will open in "regular" excel.
Note: Sometimes to do that the user needs to be "local admin" on the PC.
