Changing Data Source for WRS

Hi SAS Expert,

Previously, I have created a WRS report.

Now I would like to change the data source of the report, without changing any field settings/ layout in the report.

The field names between the old data source and new data source are the same.

Can this be done? Could you please suggest a solution?

Hi!

The best way to do this is by using a infomap as a middlestep to a report, there you can change the source (ex a olap cube) without any changes to the report. If you don't have a infomap, I think it's not possible sorry.

You could try using the export wizard from SAS Management Console to export the report. Then, re-import the report, specifying your new data source. Make sure you have a back-up of the report before trying this.
