Hi,

i found the regarding documentation Configuration Properties: Reference (Services) not saying much about this.
It only tells me to add the ESRI Rest Url.
I did so, I can see a new folder when selecting the Mapsservice, but thats it... i cant select any maps.

Is there any documentation/requirement I can provide our local ESRI admin, what he needs to provide?
We r using Viya 3.4 on RHEL

Kind Regards

Daniel

Most customers do not have external internet access enabled on their Viya server, for security reasons. You may need to configure a forward proxy with those JVM options, so that their Viya environment can make those external requests through a forward proxy server.

SAS Environment Manager -> Configuration -> All services -> (filter for:) cross -> Cross-domain Proxy service -> Edit: SAS.crossdomainproxy

Does that make sense?

Hi @JosvanderVelden,

thanks for your reply. Both, our Viya-Server and the ESRI-Server are in the same network with no firewall or proxy between them so I dont think thats to problem.
However that admin told me, the use IWA - so it seems this ESRI-Server is not compatible with viya.

Can we expect, that this will support soon? IWA is State of the Art for nearly every Web Application and SAS supports it too in SAS 9.4.

So, what does SAS mean with Token Authentication in this context?
