I’m trying to do a % of selected subset calculation in Visual Analytics.  My calculation is retained students / alive students.  I tried doing this as  a calculated date item.  Using numeric x / y.  For example 1229 retained : 1503 alive.  The result I get is 122,900%.

The adgregated measure takes care of what I need.  Not sure what a custom calc would be used for if not agregated.

I was used  x / y to show the percent of students retained.
