Greetings,

We have several publicly available reports on our site. These require no logon to our SAS VA system. They have been functioning well, but trying them today there is a major issue. The reports load via Safari on an iPad, but when you attempt to use a drop-down box the report displays a message box titled "SAS Visual Analytics Viewer" with the message, "An error occurred. Please contact your system administrator." The details are in the attached document since I cannot copy them.

These are to be used in an upcoming Board of Trustees meeting in a week or so and have been working fine.

Here is a link to one of the reports if you would like to see it.;

Thank you,

Gary

So here is what I found out; If Safari has "Request Desktop Site" turned on in Settings, the SAS Report will load, but not function.
Once I turned that off, the report opened the SAS BI app and loaded the report.
I thought HTML5 was supposed to stop that requirement, but here we are. I can at least get the Trustees to view the reports, but it will not be a pleasant experience explaining why and how to access these reports using an app that isn't all that friendly to non-technical people.

Thanks!
