Hi,

I am using the administrator overview report for SAS VA for tracking the usage of the users at our company. All the metircs like User activity, Report exploration etc. are tracked using a metric called 'Usage', which shows a very large value like 10,000 for a period of one week. Can some expalin what 'Usage' metric in the reports stands for? Is it tracks the total number of clicks (for filter or opening the report etc.) done by a User. I have attached one screenshot for reference.

Appreciate your help and thanks in advance.

Regards,

Bony Sunny

The graph is not filtered on the Usage measure so it includes all actions that could be taken on a report or exploration. Actions include Add, Cancel, Create, Delete, Execute, Export, Open, Print, Read, Release, Save, Start, and Update.

Hi Madelyn,

Thanks for the input. It was really helpful. I need some more detailed information. What all actions involved under the action 'Read'. I can see the usage value coming for Read is very high. Does it include all the filter selections, drill downs etc.

Appreciate your help and thanks in advance
