Show last updated record BY vendor (including all the details in side cross table...)

Dear all,

I've got a report showing activities by sales person (each record = one activity).

As you can see below, the cross table on the left shows the number of activities by month and by name.

Now on the list on the right, I would like to add the most recent activity date for each sale person. 

I've spend a lot of time trying to solve this but.... need your help now !
