This feels like a simple problem to have but I just can't figure it out if it is even possible. I would like for my bar graph to display the breakdown of concentrations (sub category of majors) upon selecting a major from my drop down menu. I have a drill down hierarchy also set up and that is great and works, but I would like even more for those concentrations to be listed upon major selection as stated before. Any suggestions?
You can use Lattice rows which creates a lattice of charts with a row for each value of the category data item that you assign.
Here is a sample output:

I hope it helps you.
This would be great if the default view (no major selected) wasn't so messy.
I know it would work great if there were not so many majors to display, but I guess it can't be avoided. Is there a way for me to display majors more like this while still having the nice concentration breakdown after selecting a major (like my original look below)?
Hi, in the Data Roles pane on the right, try assigning submajor to the Group role. Depending on what you want to display In the Options pane, (ensure the bar chart is selected in the drop-down menu at the top) you can then change the grouping style to Stacked and/or Normalise bars to 100% if you want to look at proportions within groups.
