Hi,

I've got a report filter consisting of 1 category. However I would like to display 2 categories in the filter. So when you click on the filter,
you can also see the sub category in the filter.

I enclosed a (non SAS VA) screenshot to point out what I mean. I've seen somebody do this in the past but I don't know how he did it.

Thanks !!

You can create controls that cascade, so that when you select a value in one control it filters a second control with only applicable values. Is that what you are looking for? You would use actions to do this.

Hi Madelyn,

Thanks for your answer. I'd like it to appear as a pop op menu just like at the top of a web site.
I've found a solution with list tables in a prompt container which dynamically interact because of the parameters filtered.

However it's not really what I want.

I'm not sure if I understand your solution well. Do I get the desired result with this. Do you have an instruction on how to do this ?

Thanks !
