Hi folks,

I have a group line graph. There is any way to show the data tip value together like in the image below? I'd like to see all the values (for all groups) for a specific point on an X axis in one data tip value.

Hello @MariaD ,

I don't know about the pop-up data tip displaying all "vertical" values, but we have built that feature like this :

Our x-axis is a datetime-stamp.

User can select one or multiple points on one of the lines (= stick to the same color when selecting = within one group).

The datetime-stamps of the selected points appear as a list box below the graph with a check box left to them.

Then the user makes his / her ultimate choice of datetime-stamps (using the check boxes).

For the datetime-stamps selected, a cross-table is showing all "vertical" measurements (for all groups = all colors).

This is the closest we could come to some standard OSIsoft PI functionality.

I think what you ask can also easily be accomplished in JMP, but I haven't found a way other than the above, to do it in VA.

Best regards,

Koen

The data tip shows all values that contribtue to a specific point on the graph. It is not grouped by the value on the X axis.
